CHAMPIONSHIP 2007 - 2008. Blackpool Are Back!

Blackpool returned to the Championship Level of English Football for the 2007-2008 Season. It had been a long desperate 29 years in the lower 2 Divisions of the English Football League and I was beginning to feel that I would never see my beloved Blackpool Football Club back at this level in my lifetime. Thanks to Simon Grayson, his backroom staff (Thommo and Parkes) and the set of players who gave their all, we triumphed in the Play Offs at Wembley in May 2007.

We won our first game of the 2007- 2008 at Leicester City, and as we sang that day = BLACKPOOL ARE BACK!!!
